an album recorded during the cool spell that swept through singapore a week back. revisiting old and familiar sounds — swelling acoustic guitar loops, unmasked mistakes, sounds from the cabin upstairs I spend my nights writing in.

discussed honesty, the anti-spectacular, the banal, the real with Terry. the image is part of a series of iphone edit images he has been making that overturns the conventional functionality of the tool and explores abstraction instead.
